This was a good weekend!!!
I went home with Becca, hung out with my mom Friday and went to Red Lobster (my favorite!!!) With my parents. That was fun. Saturday we went to Stony Creek to ride. Oh baby, thatw as fun haha My dad and I went on the Black trail while my mom rode the blue trial (dad won't let mom ride the black b/c it's too dangerous...and I don't even know why I let myself ride it, it's INSANE! haha I guess that's the fun of it) Well, "the Iceman cometh" as my mom keeps telling me. Should be interesting lol I think that I will make it (with lots of trouble and effort and pain haha) which is my goal. Today is so packed busy, I am going to have to workout tonight like after dinner! weird. I can't put it off like I would usually lol I just made a cool birthday card for Jasmine. It has Bruce from finding nemo on the front haha. Anywho, I think I am gonna finally get dressed or something lol adios!

I thought this was pretty and wish I was there!!! Wouldn't that rock??? Today has been fine, but is about to get great! Young Life is going rollerskating tonight!!! And Sean is gonna come! I am gonna be a "pixie" (aka, myself in a dress lol) I know, I am so creative. :D Erin's party last night was SOOO much fun. I loved it. She is such a fun kid and her roomates are too! We made halloween decorations and watched weird asian guys dance online http://www.ebaumsworld.com/annoyingasians.html hahaha weird...and so FUNNy! :D Welp, time to put off homework and watch smallville! haha bye!

wooo tired...haha just got up for a lovely 2 hour nap :D I am going to small group at 5 and to Erin M's appartment for a Mary Kay party at 8! It will be fun, I think. It was nice of her to think of me. She's Ben's friend and really cool, so it will be a nice chance to get to know her and her other friends while getting all dolled up haha Our phone is being homo. It won't ring! I don't know why! I think when Steph wakes up I will ask Ben from down the hall to check it out cause he's really smart. It was a very very fun weekend. Saturday night I went to a bonfire and hung out with lots of new people and it was a blast. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Then we went to Tommy's and wacthed Batman Begins (love it!). So, I gotta catch up with my scripture readings for small group and grab a snack or somethin, so adios! btw, I thought I would make this page a little prettier. :D

So anyways, I have been sick b/c of stupid TOM. I hate TOM. grrr
I skipped 2 classes today. I started reading John and Stasi Eldredge's Captivating. How interesting. In the first chapter, it talks about how the essence of a woman points to some of the chararteristics of GOD. Woman was the final part of Creation. Adam and GOD were walking together in a perfect friendship unmared by sin, and it was not complete still, something was missing. So, GOD created a woman. :D Anyways, the fact that women are SOOO relational (since we were, in fact, made in GOD's image) shows that GOD is relational. We as women long to be pursued by a lover. GOD is the same way. He says that if we draw near to Him, He will drawn near to us. He says that if we seek Him, we will find Him. Cool. There was so much more to be said on the subject, but the authors were encouraging us to look at the charateristics of women and see what GOD is trying to tell us about HimSelf. SO fascinating. And alot of women don't see how much they are worth. I wish they would all read that book, though I find it hard to believe myself sometimes. It also mentioned how every woman desperately wants to be found beautiful. It's true. I want to captivate someone with my beauty...and not just anybody, someone who will value it and cherrish it and take care of it-not knock it down and insult it.

I am so tired ugh haha I want to go work out, but there is no way that will be able to happen. I'd barf. haha yuck. We have small group tonight. I missed last week's cause I went home. I loved it last time I went though. adios!

So, it's been a few days... :-)
I had a great weekend followed by a great week! yay!!! I have been in a great mood as well. We had a girls night out shopping adventure on friday night, went to Chicago and met up with Joe and Kimber (SOOO much fun!) worked on Sunday but Erica (the union worker I work with on the grill) and I had a good time. We like to laugh alot haha and it was "closer appreciation month" so Erin (student manager) made us chocolate/banana smoothies mmmmm..... Then Lizzy came and got me on monday and we had a great time chatting for 3 hours in the car haha and then I surprised my parents who had no idea I was coming home. that was really funny. K and I were gonna go to the mall, my mom was at a school board meeting, and we hadn't seen dad yet. So, as K and I are pulling out of the driveway, we saw my dad's car, so we pulled back in to say hi to him. But, he didn't know I was home and K doesn't have a license, so when dad saw the green van pulling out he was like "KATHRYN!!!" hahaha :-) Homecoming was sweet too. We beat MSD, Matt Winkler was king and Rena Nowakowski was queen. Good times. The "low" of the week was probably wednesday working b/c dining utility is sooo boring and goes by so slowly. ugh. Last night was fun! Sean came over and we ordered pizza and watched Guess Who and it was fun :-) Welp, time for class. adios! Oh, speaking of Spanish, I am thinking about Spanish as a major. hmmm.....

I am pretty tire right now. I need to be studying! haha I shall...eventually. lol Oh yeah, especially since I am skipping 2 days of classes next week! haha I am SOOO dang excited! David and Liz are coming on Monday to get me and take me home for the homecoming game on Tuesday, then they (actually I think just Lizzy) are bringing me back Wednesday. yay! Now I just need to find a Sub for work on Tuesday and see if Kevin can move our plans to next week. I am so happy!!! I can NOT wait to see Liz and David! I miss them the most out of everybody!!! I will get to crown the next homecoming queen and see the "new" building and it will be so cool! This weekend will rock too. Not Sunday b/c I have to close at work, but tomorrow and Sat will be sweet. Tomorrow night we are having a ladies night out. We are going to the mall (we have a rockin mall here) and go to Steph and Becca's and watch a movie. Then Saturday, we are going to Chicago with Midweek! (midweek Bible study, part of campus ministry) It will be awesome. We are gonna meet up with Kimber and Mandy and Joe and Kyle!!! woohoo!!!
So, good day. haha I worked my butt off at the gym today lol I keep telling myself I am in training mode. I must finish the race! haha Ok I am sick of sitting here. bye!

Ugh. I do not want to go to bed. It is too hot and I have too much energy. I am almost mad about the situation! Nobody that I know is up, only those who would like to smoke and drink. Everybody else wants to go to bed, and who can blame them? If I was normal right now I would want to go to bed too. I am gonna be so butt tired tomorrow I can feel it. Oh well. can't do anything about it now! I have so much I could have journaled, but I just talked to Sean, so I don't feel like saying it all over again right now. I don't know what I feel like doing. I feel like running. But it's so hot that I will be a biohazard the second I started! lalala maybe I should just lay in bed and see what happens. grrr...

So, I just talked to Brittany! I miss her so much! It's been too long. Anyways, we talked a little bit about her marriage (I am doing a paper on how age when people marry affects their marriage relationships) but mostly we talked about the army. Sean is intersted in it. Jon got home as Britt and I were talking about it, and I told her that I THOUGHT the job Sean was looking at was a calvary scout (I may be wrong, but I thought that's what it was) and when Britt said it out loud, Jon was like "cav scouts?! cav scouts are gay! Tell him no!" I couldn't hear what he said next, but I think Britt repeated him in her own words. She said "they go right in front of the attacking people! ...it is very dangerous." Great. just great. haha She said that Jon is a "striker driver" whatever that is. She said it is behind most of the fighting. hahaha then I told Britt that Sean wants an adventure, which she repeated to Jon, and he said "It's not an adventure, it's a bunch of crap!!!" I could hear him say that one haha Jon doesn't like it and wishes he could get out, but the PEOPLE that are involved (the guys he works with) make it OK. So, I dunno. I am trying to be supportive of Sean whatever he decides to do. Basically, I do not want him to go thru life wish he would have done it. I want him to experience all the good that he can...it's just scary!!! Welp, we have young life tonight. I am gonna see if Kaitlin wants to come with me. I mentioned it to her on Sunday and she seemed interested.

Oh, CRAIG! Good News!!! The dish racks that we use at my resturant were made in Effingham, Illinios. hahaha I thought of you when I saw that. hehehe good times in Mexico...lol

SO, it's is really hot right now. I just got out of the shower so I am supposed to feel clean, not yucky! haha Oh well... It was family weekend so mom dad and Kathryn came over and it was very nice to see them
Ugh!!! Josh is being mean. He wants me to go down to Ohio to see his film, which would be cool, but he is talking to me like I am an idiot b/c I don't know how far Adrian, MI is from Grand Rapids! grrr... Ok, he's being nice now. Stupid MSN mesanger. I hate it yet I chat on it often lol
I have small group in almost an hour. yay for small group! haha Cathy is making muffins. lol woohoo! lala I can't watch tv b/c Steph is sleeping and has been for like...at least two hours cause I got home 2 hours ago and she was sleeping haha ugh ok I am out adios!
